Health Justice Australia invites you to join an online presentation on how to start up a health justice partnership.
Friday 11 November
2-3pm (AEST); 1.30-2.30pm (SA); 1-2pm (Qld); 12.30-1.30pm (NT); 11-12pm (WA)
Since 2012 there has been a growing interest in integrating services in health settings to better meet community legal needs.
There are now over 20 health justice partnerships around the country, supporting people experiencing domestic and family violence, family breakdown, elder abuse, mortgage stress and with a range of other legal needs.
- This free, live broadcast will feature health and legal practitioners working in health justice partnerships in community and hospital settings; in regional centres and capital cities.
- Presenters will talk about the benefits and challenges of working in a health justice partnership; and share how they’ve dealt with some of the challenges of working in partnership to better meet the needs of vulnerable communities and people experiencing disadvantage.
- Participants in the live presentation will be able to ask questions of the panel and discuss issues with other audience members.
Can’t join us for the live broadcast? Fear not!
This is the first resource being developed by Health Justice Australia to support the expansion of health justice partnerships around the country.
It will be recorded and available from our website for people to watch (and re-watch – it will be that good!)
You can watch this presentation live at https://youtu.be/Y6M1oGJWdtk
Stay tuned for more information about when the recording from this presentation will become available.
