NACCHO Preferred Suppliers Register 2014-15.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers

are encouraged to apply

Expressions of Interest are invited from suitable qualified consultants, contractors and suppliers who wish to be included on the NACCHO preferred suppliers list for a wide range of services.

1. Introduction

Based in Canberra the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national authority in comprehensive Aboriginal primary health care and peak body that represents approx. 150 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services throughout Australia.

NACCHO requires the following services

1. Strategic media relations

2. Government relations.

3. Writers and editors

4. Video and /or photographic production

5. Event management

6. Graphic design

7. Marketing and sponsorship

8. Internet and social media

9. Merchandising supply

The purpose of the NACCHO Preferred Supplier Register is to establish a “panel “of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers who able to undertake projects and assignments for the NACCHO secretariat and/ or our members as required.

Expressions of Interest are assessed and the Preferred Suppliers are selected on

1. Ability, references and experience

2. Cost

3. History of working in health and/or with Aboriginal organisations.

The period of supply is for a two (2) year period from March 2014.

2. Services required:

2.1 Strategic media relations:

Raising NACCHO’s profile and influence in the national media and providing strategic media and communication direction and advice.

2.2 Government relations

Raising NACCHO’s profile and influence with Federal, State and Territory governments and agencies.

2.3 Writers and editors:

Assisting NACCHO in writing and editing a wide range of specialist submissions, reports and speeches.

2.4 Video and/or photographic production:

Production of video and photographic materials

2.5 Event management:

Assisting NACCHO with major events, annual general meeting, summits, conferences and training workshops

2.6 Graphic design:

Design reports, brochures and other printed material and merchandising

2.7 Marketing and sponsorship:

Provide consulting services in the areas of marketing and sponsorship

2.8 Internet and social media:

Provide consulting services in the development and implementation of Internet and social media strategies

2.9 Merchandising supply:

Provide merchandising as required for events and projects

3. Selection process

1. Expression of interest close COB 5.00 pm 20 February 2014

2. Successful applicants will be advised in the first week of March 2014.

4. Selection Criteria

Candidates will be weighted equally against three criteria:

1.    Ability, references and experience (please provide a minimum of 2 references)

2.    Cost.(please advise an hourly rate/s for your services)

Please note: NACCHO reserves the right to negotiate the final contract rates, project hours, deliverables and scope of works with the successful applicants

3. History of working in health and/or with Aboriginal organisations.
