POSITION TITLE: CLOSING THE GAP – PROGRAM OFFICER
APPOINTMENT: 12 MONTH CONTRACT
SALARY: $75,000.00 BASE – SALARY PACKAGING MAY BE AVAILABLE
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Workforce Manager
CLOSING DATE: 24 NOVEMBER 2013
Under the direction of the NACCHO Board through the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Policy Manager, the Closing the Gap Project Officer will engage with the Department of Health and Ageing, Australian General Practice Network and the Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCHO) sector to support effective implementation of the COAG measures and to encourage increased cooperation and partnership between the ACCHO sector and mainstream general practice.
POSITION TITLE: COMPANY SECRETARY
APPOINTMENT: PART-TIME (ONGOING)
SALARY: $160,000 P/A (PRO-RATA) – SALARY PACKAGING OPTIONS AVAILABLE
ACCOUNTABLE TO: CEO and Board of Directors
CLOSING DATE: 24 NOVEMBER 2013
The company secretary plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness of the board by monitoring that board policy and procedures are followed, and coordinating the timely completion and despatch of board agenda and briefing material. It is important that all directors have access to the company secretary. The appointment and removal of the company secretary should be a matter for decision by the board as a whole. The company secretary should be accountable to the board, through the chair, on all governance matters.
POSITION TITLE: EVENTS OFFICER
APPOINTMENT: FIXED TERM CONTRACT (6 MONTHS)
SALARY: $65,000 BASE – SALARY PACKAGING MAY BE AVAILABLE
ACCOUNTABLE TO: CORPORATE SERVICES MANAGER
CLOSING DATE: NOVEMBER 17
The Events Officer will be responsible for assisting the smooth organisation and operation of NACCHO hosted and project based events and conferences.
