  1. Hi, we’ve been learning a bit about overseas ways of Shamanic healing via natural medicinal plants recent, and get thinking naturally about ways of this land. Then seeing the promo for the puppets film about eye health, I got a brain wave, about making a short film for young fellows, (those at risk of incarceration especially), about “plant lore”, and letting all the old men who know lore about Pituri, do the voices and tell the real stories that sing lore/law for the Pituri users. So now my brain wave is fracturing into hundreds of potential difficulties already, eg those old men potentially won’t speak English, eg the funding for a film about Pituri maybe harder to come across, eg . . . . well this is the thing right, the real reason I got thinking along these lines, is because within my own individual reciprocal obligations inside culture, I have had a betrothal made between me and a man, who was engaged in illegal sales of a big, Aboriginal grown, on Aboriginal lands, marijuana crop, and who is still today selling it within naming it Pituri, because he knew the stories for Pituri managing, and sustains conceptual awareness of Pituri use as a state of mind, and place in the Dreamtime, moreso than any specific plant, . . . and apparently that helped him escape detection by police, . . . however, he and I long fell out over this matter among others, because I think his naming an illicit marijuana crop as Pituri, was real bad manners towards all the old men who sing the songs for Pituri and manage all those dreaming within Pituri way, . . . . but this hurdle to overcome is that exact hurdle which inspires me to pull it all together and make a film like the eye health one, but about Spiritual health, and what the lore/law (two way here of course, both actual practical legislative control info, and plant lore traditional way, in one yarn between puppets), true is. Might even help reduce nicotine addictions in everybody. The brainwave is so good as that I am realising it might have been done for me by men who know it of me, that I am still OK in Spirit way out from bad relationships with former gaol inmate addicts, but OK only because I know plant lore and could apply it to my own behaviour in the company of a few too many addicts. This might even be why I am currently enrolled in an online Naturopathy course, and also a film and television assistant course, both simultaneously, (just by coincidence), and just last week got the invite I needed to participate in a traditional Native American Shamanic ceremony to begin learning understand how and why Shamanic healing, and use of plants that are similar to Pituri, is gaining popularity in the mainstream of the Americas and Europe. I had an idea it could be more useful than just leaving a comment here, if I could write a paper about my comprehension of these issues, and let the men with NACCHO figure it all out from here. My Warlbiri way Kinship family are interested in involving me in their processes for enabling the discourse between mainstream complementary and alternative medicine (CAM they say), health care paradigms, (that have begun to embrace Native American Shamanism in a very full on way), and indigenous cultural contexts that we have to be needing to learn more about mainstream western science models of health care within. I am hoping to become an enabler of some of the traditional families, for their youngsters with true medicine dreaming, to engage in studying courses alike the one I am currently studying in Naturopathy, and/or work towards introducing a few of the alternative health care modalities into traditional indigenous society, as a practitioner in my own right. eg I am a lay homeopath, and I know the Nungkari at Alice understand the principles of homeopathy, far better than the teachers paid to teach me at Endeavour College. I have been thinking very seriously about the potential repercussions of federal government legislative regulation of traditional indigenous medicine, throughout all of last year and this year, and sent a publication produced by a University in the USA that teaches Shamanism, to Congress in Alice, with a letter addressing the issues as I perceive. Will legislative regulation cause a need for formal qualifications? Do indigenous medicine men know that all the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM, they say), practitioners who also became legislatively regulated at the same time, are not wanting to co-operate with the process, and that many of the alternative health care scene workers are in radical opposition to legislative regulation of their various professions. (Mainly because the advocates for regulation and for more formal qualifications within all such professions, are those with less skills on the ground, and less patients, and less income, therefore, and who only wanted to mark out their section of the market of ill folk.) Study of basic Anatomy and Physiology at University level is undeniably useful within any healing paradigm however. But what kinds of tertiary courses will prove most useful if that is the way the story is going to unfold? I don’t know! Whatever the solutions will eventually prove to be, I think there is work to be done towards proving to all the complementary and alternative health care practitioners in Australia, that they can hardly afford to disqualify indigenous medicine traditions of this land. Nevertheless, the many varied health care modalities they offer, are all far better options than ganga being called Pituri on the sly if you asked me. (Plus it is truthfully very useful to be learning how the battles in the Dreamtime for Spiritual leadership have unfolded in South America so far>>>they have on side Europeans learning off of them how to wage wars with Dreamtime poison arrow darts that cause sicknesses too severe to recover from, . . . I guess in the hope that the Europeans will pay back debts of invasion by throwing such darts at mining company executives and engineers etc)

Anonymous Puppet of the Dreaming.. . . . .nah, if anybody wants me to write a paper I will, . . . send a message via me FB account, to Rebekah Copas, . . .

(I am formally not yet identified as indigenous on paper, because of elders in my own family who wanted to keep up passing as white, but the few indigenous men who know me well enough, know we have real ancestry, and both sides with me, and I don’t want to be a dickhead who tried to count theirselves as black with obviously white skin, neither will identify only for Abstudy or anything, . . . but I am Dreaming true real via Pituringa with my father recent, in a Peyote ceremony in a tipi near Uki NSW managed by a Chilean Shaman, . . . and thinking its all going to have to spill out soon enough now)
